This fun and quick class is appropriate for ages 5-adult. After choosing the shape you want to make, you will select the color or colors you want to use, help add them to the clear molten glass, and use a mold to create the form. Blow Your Own 1: Paperweight or Ornament

Create a blown glass ornament or a sculpted paperweight with the help of your instructor in this hands-on experience. You will select the color or colors you want to use, help add them to the clear molten glass, and use tools to make your piece. Blow Your Own 2: Bowl, Seafloat, Pumpkin

Create one piece of blown glass per person with the help of your instructor in this hands-on experience. Choose from a double walled bowl, a sea float or a pumpkin. You will select the color or colors you want to use, help add them to the clear molten glass, and use tools and your breath to make your piece. Cost includes all materials, tools and color required for the class. 72-hour notice required to reschedule or cancel without penalty.

Private Lesson

3-hour private lessons are designed to give students a solid understanding of basic glassblowing techniques at an accelerated rate. You will collaborate with your instructor to create a variety of pieces including, but not limited to paperweights, ornaments, cups and bowls. With each new shape, you will learn basic skills such as adding color, shaping the hot glass using various tools, and blowing through a pipe or hose. Typically, 3-5 pieces are made during the lesson and are yours to keep after the cooling period. Private Lessons are designed for 1 to 2 people, 1-2 additional participants can be added for $75 per person. Tuition includes all materials, tools and color required for the class. 72-hour notice required to reschedule or cancel without penalty. Optional gratuity for the instructors is not included.

Group Workshop

This fun workshop-style class is on the second Friday of each month. You will meet new people and learn basic glassblowing skills, while creating 1-2 pieces of blown glass art that are yours to keep after the cooling period. Objects will vary by month, and may include paperweights, ornaments, cups, or bowls. Cost includes all materials, tools and color required for the class. 72-hour notice required to reschedule or cancel without penalty. Optional gratuity for the instructors is not included. Weekend Workshop

Weekend workshops give beginning students an understanding of basic glassblowing techniques at an accelerated rate. Learn to create a variety of shapes that may include paperweights, ornaments, cups, and bowls. With each new shape, students will refine their skills gathering glass onto the rod, shaping it with various tools, and adding basic color applications. Typically, 3-6 pieces per person are created, and are yours to keep after the cooling period. Class size is limited to 6, providing an intimate studio environment and maximizing learning potential. Tuition includes all materials, tools and color. 72-hour notice required to reschedule or cancel without penalty. Optional gratuity for instructors is not included.

Six-Week Course

Develop a solid background in basic glassblowing technique, hot shop safety, etiquette and proper form. Class sizes are limited to provide an intimate studio environment and maximize learning potential.
Beginner 1: Develop fundamental principles of gathering glass onto the rod, shaping glass with various tools, and basic color applications. Progress through a set series of shapes and forms. Tuition includes all materials, tools and color. This course can be taken multiple times before advancing.
Beginner 2: Develop technique and skill. Try more advanced forms, different color applications and pattern design. *Color not included.
Intermediate/Advanced: Refine your skills and shop etiquette. Tackle more advanced shaping and color techniques. *Color not included.
